Union Home Minister Amit Shah has accused the Congress party and the National Conference of aligning with anti-national forces following remarks by Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, who claimed both parties support the restoration of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Shah stated that Asif's comments reveal a shared agenda between Congress and Pakistan, particularly regarding Kashmir's special status. He criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for allegedly standing with forces that undermine India's integrity and sentiments. Shah asserted that under Prime Minister Modi's government, neither Article 370 nor terrorism would return to Kashmir, reinforcing the BJP's stance on the issue. In response to Asif's comments, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah emphasized that Pakistan should not interfere in India's electoral matters, arguing they should focus on their own democratic issues.
