Highway 97C Reopens After Fatal Crash

A fatal crash on Highway 97C, approximately three kilometers west of the Highway 97 turnoff, has resulted in the westbound lanes being closed for several hours. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. when a pickup truck attempted to pass a snowplow, leading to a collision exacerbated by poor weather conditions. West Kelowna RCMP confirmed that one person died in the crash and extended condolences to the victim's family.
