Several MLB players are beginning rehab assignments with hopes of returning before the end of the regular season. Danny Coulombe of the Orioles will start his rehab with Triple-A Norfolk after recovering from elbow surgery. Mariners' Gregory Santos made a successful return, pitching a scoreless inning for Triple-A Tacoma as part of his rehab from a biceps injury. Blue Jays' Bo Bichette, out since mid-July with a calf strain, will join Triple-A Buffalo and could return to Toronto's lineup soon, though his future with the team remains uncertain. Lastly, Orioles' outfielder Heston Kjerstad, recovering from a concussion, will begin his rehab with High-A Aberdeen.
