Ex-Soldier Kyle Clifford Murders Family in Bushey

Kyle Clifford, a former soldier, has been found guilty of the brutal rape and murder of his ex-girlfriend Louise Hunt, her sister Hannah, and their mother Carol in July 2024. Just days before the attack, Louise ended their 18-month relationship, expressing to Clifford that it was detrimental to her well-being. In a meticulously planned attack, Clifford armed himself with a crossbow and other weapons before deceiving the family to gain entry into their home. After committing the murders, he fled the scene and was later found with self-inflicted injuries. Prosecutors have described Clifford's violence as extreme, with his actions shocking even to law enforcement, who previously noted no signs of violence in his relationship with Louise.
