Florida Man's NYSE Bomb Plot Uncovered by FBI

Harun Abdul-Malik Yener, a 30-year-old man from Coral Springs, Florida, was arrested and charged for plotting to bomb the New York Stock Exchange with the intent to 'reset' the U.S. government. The FBI began investigating Yener in February after receiving a tip about bomb-making materials in his storage unit, where they found bomb-making sketches, timers, and electronic components. Yener discussed his plans with undercover FBI agents, expressing his desire to execute the attack before Thanksgiving. He reportedly rewired two-way radios for remote detonation and planned to disguise himself during the attack. Yener was known for posting videos on making explosives and had attempted to associate with extremist groups. He is currently detained awaiting trial.
