Virginia Lillye, a beloved singer who rose to national attention on season nine of The Voice Australia, died on Sunday aged 56 after a two-year battle with advanced ovarian cancer, a death confirmed on social media by fellow musician Don Spencer. She was diagnosed with stage-three ovarian cancer in June 2023 and underwent several rounds of chemotherapy, suffering treatment setbacks before her passing.
