Jayasuriya acknowledged the immense skill and experience these players brought to the team and expressed confidence that Sri Lanka could exploit this gap. He expressed optimism following a six-day training camp led by Rajasthan Royals' Zubin Bharucha, aimed at enhancing players' techniques. The series will feature new faces for Sri Lanka, including Kusal Perera and uncapped allrounder Chamindu Wickramasinghe. The matches will be held in Pallekele, with the first match scheduled for Saturday.
