Duty Free Americas Chosen for JFK Airport's New Terminal One

Duty Free Americas (DFA) has been selected as the exclusive duty-free operator for the new $9.5 billion, all-international New Terminal One at JFK Airport, opening in phases from 2026 and completing in 2030. DFA will introduce a bespoke retail brand, Skyline Duty Free, offering nearly 20,000 square feet of flagship luxury retail anchored in a commercial district themed around New York City’s skyline and landmarks. The retail experience will blend global powerhouse brands with local NYC products, and incorporate immersive, multisensory shopping experiences such as virtual reality simulators, digital activations, and experiential centers. Unique to the terminal, DFA will enable cash-and-carry purchases, click-and-collect, and lounge delivery services, moving away from traditional gate collection methods. The terminal will also showcase local artisans and businesses through the 'Love Local' storefront, complementing exclusive product launches and VIP shopping services. This initiative aims to set a new standard for airport retail in the U.S., with innovation, digital engagement, and a strong emphasis on both international luxury and New York’s cultural identity.
