NBC Sets Wicked Concert Special for November 2025

NBC will air a live two-hour Wicked concert special on November 6, 2025, from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, featuring performances by Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, and their co-stars, with possible previews from the upcoming sequel, Wicked: For Good. The event will stream on Peacock starting November 7, ahead of Wicked: For Good's theatrical release on November 21. Wicked, released in November 2024, became the highest-grossing Broadway musical adaptation with over $750 million in global box office revenue and received 10 Oscar nominations, winning two. The concert special is executive produced by Ben Winston and Raj Kapoor for Fulwell Entertainment. Cast members from both films include Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Bowen Yang, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum, with Jon M. Chu directing. The special aims to build excitement for the sequel and celebrate the franchise's success.
