The Wetaskiwin Olympians swim team competed in Lloydminster's Battle on the Border, coming in third place behind Edmonton Huma and Edmonton Derrick. The team also holds third place in the Region C overall standings. The National Parks and Recreation Championships hosted at Indiana University’s Natatorium will feature swimmers 11 and older from several cities, including Atlanta, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Philadelphia. The competition will include “butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and individual medley” events for varying age groups. The Official SwimSwam Pick ‘Em Contest for the 2024 U.S. Swimming Olympic Trials is live, courtesy of Speedo USA. Swimmers are reminded to choose carefully as the tie-breaker for prizes, if necessary, will be the most correctly-picked winners in the relevant time period, then 2nd-place finishers, then 3rd-place finishers, etc. The SwimSwam Pulse poll revealed that the men's 100 free is considered the most competitive relay selection event at the U.S. Trials, with 61.7% of readers voting for it.
