Pasadena's Velo Bike Shop Burglarized Again, $100K in Bikes Stolen

Velo Pasadena, a family-owned bike shop in Pasadena, has been targeted by thieves for the third time in three months, with the latest burglary resulting in the theft of eight high-end bicycles valued at over $100,000. Surveillance footage captured six individuals breaking in early Tuesday morning, using a crowbar to force entry and quickly removing bikes that were awaiting repairs. Store manager Matthew Gevrikyan expressed his frustration, noting that the shop has suffered approximately ten break-ins since the pandemic began, significantly impacting their operations.
