Beyond Meat Inc. reported a significant financial turnaround in the third quarter of fiscal 2024, with revenue rising 7.6% to $81 million, surpassing Wall Street's expectations. The company narrowed its net loss to $26.6 million from $70.5 million a year ago, translating to a loss of 41 cents per share, which was better than the anticipated 48-cent loss. Despite a 7% decline in the volume of products sold, Beyond Meat achieved a 15.8% increase in net revenue per pound, driven by price hikes and a reduced reliance on discounts. CEO Ethan Brown expressed optimism about sustained growth, attributing improvements to the promotion of healthier premium products. The company also reported encouraging trends in three of its four sales channels, indicating a potential recovery. Beyond Meat adjusted its full-year sales outlook to between $420 million and $330 million, up from previous estimates.
