Parents Subdue 83-Year-Old Gunman Following Shooting at Texas High School

An 83-year-old man, Dennis Brandl Jr., opened fire during a high school band competition in Pasadena, Texas, injuring a percussion technical consultant in the shoulder. Brandl, who believed he was being chased, entered the auditorium and discharged his weapon before being tackled to the ground by several parents, including veterans and a police sergeant.
