A father and son were arrested in Kalyan, Thane district, for allegedly raping a 27-year-old woman who worked in a brick kiln. The incident occurred on September 6, when the accused, along with a minor, entered the victim's hut and assaulted her in turns. The victims are the father-in-law, aged 50, and brother-in-law, aged 22, of the woman. Following the assault, the victim sustained severe injuries and is currently hospitalized. Additionally, the victim's husband has been detained for allegedly beating her when she reported the incident. The case has drawn attention from local authorities, including Thane Rural SP DS Swamy, who is overseeing the investigation.
