Contemporary Fiber Art Exhibit Opens Denver Botanic Gardens

Several art events and exhibitions are celebrating the intersection of art and nature across the United States. The Denver Botanic Gardens is showcasing Contemporary Fiber: Botanicals, an exhibit highlighting fiber art's history and environmental themes through diverse materials and techniques. In Western North Carolina, the Black Mountain Center for the Arts is hosting its 19th annual Art in Bloom event, featuring floral-inspired workshops in various mediums such as watercolor, oil pastels, and mosaics. Meanwhile, the Augusta Art Guild's 24th Annual Art in the Garden art show in Kentucky will bring together over 50 artists alongside live music, food, and distilleries for a festive community experience. Additionally, near Nashville, the Art in the Garden – Countryside Colors event invites visitors to enjoy art, music, and nature at a countryside retreat. The New York Botanical Garden is also preparing an exhibition inspired by Vincent van Gogh's sunflowers, combining real and sculptural floral displays in its conservatory and outdoor spaces.
