49ers’ Lenoir Arrested; Firearms, Drugs Found in Car

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir was arrested Thursday evening in Los Angeles on a misdemeanor charge of delaying and resisting a peace officer after an incident involving a suspected firearm in a vehicle. During the police investigation, Lenoir refused to surrender car keys, passing them to another individual who fled the scene. Authorities later discovered loaded firearms and narcotics inside the vehicle. Another man, Marcus Cunningham, was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm. Lenoir was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court on July 25, shortly after 49ers training camp begins. The 49ers have acknowledged the incident and stated they are gathering more information.
