Florida Michelin Guide Adds New Regions, Awards

The 2025 Michelin Guide Florida expanded its coverage to include Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and, for the first time, Greater Fort Lauderdale, The Palm Beaches, and St. Pete-Clearwater. Sorekara in Orlando became Florida's second two-star Michelin restaurant, alongside Miami's L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, while Ômo by Jônt (Orlando), Chef's Counter at MAASS (Fort Lauderdale), Itamae AO (Miami), and Konro (West Palm Beach) each earned a Michelin star. Entrenos and Stubborn Seed in Miami received Green Star awards for sustainability. Thirty-six restaurants were awarded Bib Gourmand distinctions for excellent value, including new entries from Orlando and West Palm Beach. Special awards went to Austin Joseph of Sorekara for service and Jacqueline Pirolo of Macchialina for sommelier excellence. These honors highlight Florida's growth as a diverse, international culinary destination, with over 50 Orlando restaurants now Michelin-recognized.
