Def Leppard Expected to Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Star October 9
Def Leppard, the British rock band, is set to receive the 2,825th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 9, 2026, with a ceremony held at 1750 N. Vine Street in front of the iconic Capitol Records building. The event will feature guest speakers Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Resnikoff, CEO of Universal Music Enterprises, and will be hosted by Sirius XM personality Bob Buchmann, with a live stream available for fans worldwide. The band, inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, has achieved significant success with two Diamond-certified albums, "Hysteria" and "Pyromania," and chart-topping hits including "Love Bites." Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez praised Def Leppard for earning a permanent place in music history and on one of the world's most famous sidewalks. In addition to the honor, Def Leppard is working on their 13th studio album, planning to release singles ahead of their 2026 Las Vegas residency and British tour. The band's long-standing lineup and enduring influence in rock music solidify their legacy alongside other legendary artists immortalized on Hollywood Boulevard.
