The East Delhi Riders emerged victorious in the inaugural Delhi Premier League T20, defeating the South Delhi Superstarz by just three runs in a thrilling final at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Mayank Rawat played a pivotal role, scoring an unbeaten 78 runs off 39 balls, propelling East Delhi to a total of 183/5. In response, South Delhi's chase faltered early as they lost key players, including captain Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya, for low scores. Despite a valiant effort from Tejaswi Dahiya, who scored 68 runs off 24 balls, South Delhi fell short, ending their innings at 180/9.
