Lou Groza Award Watch List Highlights Top Kickers

The 2025 Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award preseason watch list features 30 top college football kickers from across the U.S. Notable nominees include Kansas' Laith Marjan, Missouri's Blake Craig, Michigan's Dominic Zvada, Texas A&M's Randy Bond, and Oklahoma State's Gabe Panikowski, each recognized for their outstanding performances last season. Marjan, a 2024 semifinalist, is known for his accuracy, while Craig aims to improve his long-range kicking after a strong debut. Zvada set Michigan records and tied an NCAA record for 50-plus yard field goals, earning first-team All-American honors. Bond rebounded to become a semifinalist last fall, and Panikowski, a transfer from Idaho State, was perfect on field goals in 2024 and won the Fred Mitchell Award. The award will narrow to 20 semifinalists in November, three finalists later that month, and a winner announced during the Home Depot College Football Awards in December.
