Usyk-Dubois II Undercard to Feature Title Bouts

Lawrence Okolie and Lewis Edmondson have been confirmed for the undercard of the heavyweight title rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois on July 19 at Wembley Stadium. Okolie, a former cruiserweight and bridgerweight champion, will face South Africa's Kevin Lerena in a 12-round bout for the WBC Silver heavyweight title. Lerena is known for knocking down Dubois three times before losing by stoppage in 2022 and enters with a 31-3 record, while Okolie is 21-1. Edmondson, the reigning British and Commonwealth light-heavyweight champion, will take on undefeated Ukrainian Daniel Lapin, who is closely associated with Usyk and holds an 11-0 record. Edmondson and Lapin will contest for IBF regional honors in their matchup. The main event will see Dubois striving to become the first British heavyweight to hold all four major belts in the four-belt era, while Usyk aims to become a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion.
