Mardi Gras 2025: Global Celebrations and Highlights

Mardi Gras festivities are taking place across various locations, each celebrating in unique ways. In Black Diamond, the Regency at Ten Trails community for active adults is hosting a Mardi Gras event with jazz music, beignet-making, and mask decorating. The Krewe of Pontchartrain in New Orleans marked its 50th anniversary with a grand coronation gala. San Antonio is hosting multiple events including a Mardi Gras Artisan Show and New Orleans-themed music performances. In Wilmington, events range from a Port City Players concert to a parade by St. Mary Catholic School. Baton Rouge will have a two-part Mardi Gras Festival featuring Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor, and Sydney's La Perouse Aboriginal community is debuting its 'LaPa Legends' float in their parade, celebrating personal and cultural empowerment.
