The company withdrew the first submission to include a new weekly content update, which must be released simultaneously across all platforms. This ongoing delay is tied to the aftermath of the Epic Games vs. Apple legal battle, which resulted in Apple's termination of Epic's developer account and a ban on Fortnite from the App Store. Due to the ban on its main developer account, Epic has submitted the game through a Swedish subsidiary, but Apple is not obligated to reinstate Fortnite despite the court ruling that Apple must allow alternative payment methods.
