Essex, Leicester Drug Dealers Sentenced After County Lines Raids

Miguel Figueiredo-Mendes and Jean Paul Ekombolo, both 28, were arrested by police during an early morning raid in Leicester while they were sleeping side-by-side. Officers seized crack cocaine with a street value of £10,700 and £1,000 in cash, linked to a drug line operating between London and Coalville. A third man, Christian Mudianga, 35, was also arrested at a separate location as part of the investigation. All three men pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply drugs and were sentenced to prison terms ranging from four to over six years. Inspector Steve Burge emphasized the collaborative police efforts in dismantling the drug operation and the commitment to removing illegal drugs from the community.
