2024-25 NBA All-Defensive Teams Announced
Evan Mobley of the Cleveland Cavaliers, also named Defensive Player of the Year, led voting for the 2024-25 NBA All-Defensive First Team with 99 of 100 first-team votes. The first team includes Atlanta's Dyson Daniels, who also won Most Improved Player, Oklahoma City's Luguentz Dort, Golden State's Draymond Green, and Houston's Amen Thompson. Both Daniels and Thompson, aged 22, are among the youngest ever to receive first-team honors, with Thompson the youngest in Rockets history. Draymond Green earned his fifth first-team and ninth overall All-Defensive selection. Rudy Gobert was named to the second team, marking his eighth All-Defensive nod, alongside Portland's Toumani Camara, Memphis' Jaren Jackson Jr., Oklahoma City's Jalen Williams, and the Clippers' Ivica Zubac. The selections highlight a season of breakout defensive performances and rising young stars.
