LSU, Southern Miss to Host NCAA Baseball Regionals

LSU Baseball has secured the No. 6 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and will host the Baton Rouge Regional at Alex Box Stadium, opening against Little Rock, with Dallas Baptist and Rhode Island also in the field. As one of eight top national seeds, LSU is positioned to host both a Regional and, if successful, a Super Regional, marking their 28th time hosting a regional and ninth since 2012. The Baton Rouge Regional winner will advance to face the winner of the Clemson Regional, featuring Clemson, West Virginia, Kentucky, and USC Upstate, for a spot in the College World Series. LSU's strong SEC performance and last year's national championship heighten postseason expectations.
