Multiple Major Crashes Across U.S. Cause Closures
Multiple serious traffic incidents occurred across the United States this week, resulting in road closures, injuries, and at least one fatality. In northwest Charlotte, North Carolina, a person was killed after being struck by a vehicle on North Hoskins Road, and a separate crash on I-85 caused significant traffic delays. In Patch Grove, Wisconsin, a two-vehicle collision injured three people and led to one arrest for operating while intoxicated. In Milwaukee, a crash involving an unmarked police car left two officers and a teen driver injured. Serious crashes also closed Shaw Hill Road in Hampden, Maine, where a 20-year-old suffered serious injuries, and an intersection in New Britain, Connecticut. Authorities in all affected areas advised motorists to avoid the scenes as investigations and clearance operations continued.
