NETGEAR has expanded its Nighthawk WiFi 7 router lineup with the introduction of three new models: RS600, RS500, and RS200, designed to meet the growing demands for high-speed internet and secure connectivity in modern homes. The RS600 leads with a tri-band capability and speeds up to 18Gbps, followed by the RS500 at 12Gbps, and the budget-friendly RS200, which offers speeds of 6.5Gbps but lacks a 6GHz band. All models support WiFi 7, which is 2.4 times faster than its predecessor, WiFi 6, and cater to the increasing number of IoT devices requiring stable connections. David Henry from NETGEAR highlighted the routers' robust security features and their ability to accommodate high-quality video streaming and advanced computing needs. The launch comes alongside the trend of more WiFi 7 devices entering the market, including the recently announced iPhone 16. Prices for the new routers range from $229 to $499, providing consumers with various options based on their specific needs and budget.
