Kia Unveils PV5 Electric Van in Tarragona

Kia has unveiled its first electric van, the PV5, available in both Passenger and Cargo variants. The PV5, part of Kia's Platform Beyond Vehicle lineup, features a boxy, upright design reminiscent of the Hyundai Staria and is set to rival the Volkswagen ID. Buzz. The vehicle is characterized by bold front fascias with LED lights and no traditional grille, instead sporting a central charging port. The PV5 will be offered in multiple configurations to cater to various needs, with specialized conversion options planned. Technical specifications are yet to be disclosed, but Kia hints at fast charging capabilities and possibly a range of around 300 miles. The PV5 is expected to debut in full at the Kia EV Day on February 27, 2025, in Tarragona, Spain.
