Prime Video has announced a new prequel series titled 'Vought Rising,' centered on Soldier Boy and Stormfront, following the events of 'The Boys' Season 4. The series, set in the 1950s, will explore the origins of Vought International and the twisted history of its two characters, with Jensen Ackles reprising his role as Soldier Boy and Aya Cash returning as Stormfront. Showrunner Eric Kripke described the series as a 'twisted murder mystery' involving the company’s rise to power and the complex relationship between the two Supes. The announcement was made during San Diego Comic-Con, where it was also confirmed that Soldier Boy will return in the fifth and final season of 'The Boys.' 'Vought Rising' does not have a release date yet, while 'Gen V' Season 2 is slated for 2025. The upcoming projects promise to expand the franchise with darker themes and complex character arcs.
