Todd Chrisley Threatens Rick Singer in Florida Prison Confrontation

Todd Chrisley revealed on his daughter Savannah's Unlocked podcast that he had a tense confrontation with William "Rick" Singer, the mastermind behind the 2019 college admissions scandal, while both were inmates at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola. Chrisley claimed Singer had been badmouthing Savannah, who was advocating on behalf of her father within the Bureau of Prisons, leading Todd to threaten Singer with physical violence if he continued. The tension stemmed from Singer denying his cooperation with federal authorities despite turning in celebrities like Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin, which Todd called out as dishonesty. Singer was sentenced to three and a half years in prison in January 2023 and released to a halfway house in Los Angeles in August 2024. Todd and his wife Julie, both pardoned by President Trump in May 2025, shared the emotional details of their prison experiences and reunion during the podcast. The altercation nearly resulted in Chrisley being transferred to another county but did not escalate beyond that point.
