Cyberpunk 2077 Mac Release Excludes 8GB Models

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is set to launch natively for Apple Silicon Macs on July 17, 2025, supporting all M1 through M4 models with at least 16GB of unified memory and macOS 15.5 or later, but notably excluding base M1 and M2 models with only 8GB of RAM. The release includes the Phantom Liberty expansion and all major updates, such as Patch 2.3's new Photo Mode features. Optimizations leverage MetalFX upscaling, spatial audio with AirPods head tracking, HDR, and graphics presets tailored to each Mac. Future updates will integrate Metal 4 technologies for further visual enhancements. The game will be available on the Mac App Store, Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store, with cross-progression enabled. This move reflects CD Projekt Red’s renewed support for Mac gaming after rebuilding Cyberpunk 2077 post-launch.
