MGM Grand Las Vegas Renovates 4,212 Rooms in $300 Million Project

The MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is undergoing a significant $300 million renovation of its 4,212 rooms and suites, expected to be completed by December 2025. The redesign, inspired by the disco era, aims to blend modern aesthetics with comfort, featuring upgraded amenities like walk-in showers and new media consoles. The first phase of remodeled rooms will be available for booking starting March 1, 2025, and includes the addition of over 110 new suites. MGM's President, Mike Neubecker, emphasized that these changes respond to evolving guest preferences, aiming to create a more home-like experience rather than a traditional hotel feel. The renovation aligns with MGM Grand's reputation as an entertainment hub and comes alongside new dining and entertainment offerings planned for the venue. The project is being led by global architecture firm Gensler, reflecting a commitment to enhancing the guest experience for both leisure and business travelers.
