Yacht Club de Monaco Wins Admiral's Cup 2025 After Two Decades

The Yacht Club de Monaco (YCM) achieved a historic victory in the 2025 Admiral’s Cup, marking their first participation and win in this prestigious offshore racing competition, which returned after a 20-year hiatus. Led by vice-president Pierre Casiraghi on the Carkeek 42 Jolt 6 and Peter Harrison, CEO of Richard Mille, on the TP52 Jolt 3, the Monaco team executed a flawless strategic campaign through the Channel Race, six inshore races in the Solent, and the decisive Rolex Fastnet Race. Casiraghi, an amateur helm, described the experience as the most exhausting race he has ever done and praised navigator Will Harris for his exceptional performance. Monaco narrowly defeated the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and Italy's Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, with both Jolt 3 and Jolt 6 topping their respective class leaderboards. The event's hybrid format, combining offshore and inshore racing, challenged teams' resilience and skill, making Monaco's triumph particularly remarkable. This victory places Monaco in an exclusive group of Admiral’s Cup champions and signals a strong future for the team in upcoming regattas.
