Senior AAP leader Atishi has accused the BJP of attempting to overthrow the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi by imposing President's rule through 'back door' tactics. Atishi warned that if the BJP succeeds, they will face a backlash in the upcoming assembly elections, claiming AAP will win all 70 seats while the BJP will be reduced to zero. She referenced the BJP's historical 'Operation Lotus' strategy used in other states to topple elected governments. In response, Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta criticized the AAP government for failing to address constitutional issues, including the non-formation of the Sixth Delhi Finance Commission. Gupta alleged that the lack of assembly sessions and withheld reports are indicative of a governance crisis, further complicating the political landscape ahead of the elections scheduled for early next year.
