Two men fatally shot in apartment complexes in Phoenix, Atlanta

A 26-year-old man, Damien Jackson Jr., was found shot and killed in a common area between two apartment buildings near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road in north Phoenix on April 16. Phoenix police responded to the scene and provided lifesaving care, but Jackson Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspect information has been released, and police are encouraging anyone with information to contact Silent Witness anonymously. The investigation is ongoing.
