Three Officers Injured in Vacaville Inmate Attack

Three correctional officers were injured by an inmate wielding an improvised weapon during an emergency cell extraction at the California Medical Facility in Vacaville. The incident, which occurred on Friday, led to the officers receiving treatment at an external medical facility before being released. The inmate, whose identity has not been disclosed, was also treated and is set to be transferred to another institution.
