Taunton Man Injured in Overnight Shooting

A 38-year-old man from Taunton was shot multiple times early Monday morning and sought treatment at Morton Hospital around 2:30 a.m. He was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries and later transferred to another hospital for further care. Police believe the shooting occurred in the vicinity of 31 Winthrop Street. The incident is currently under investigation, with authorities asking anyone with information to contact Taunton Police detectives. The man's identity has not been disclosed.
