Oklahoma City Arrests 20-Year-Old for NBA Finals Shooting

Penn was initially charged with unlawfully carrying a firearm but was later arrested and charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon after confessing to the shooting. According to Penn, he fired his weapon in defense after seeing his cousin being assaulted and feeling outnumbered. The investigation included recovery of the empty case from Penn's pistol and the use of the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network to link the gun to the shooting.
