The All-Star Game will feature a new tournament format, including four teams, with the Thunder's assistant coach also set to lead one of those teams. The event aims to revitalize interest in the All-Star festivities after previous formats faced criticism. The All-Star Game is scheduled for February 16 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, with games structured to end when a team scores 40 points. Daigneault is the first Thunder coach to receive this honor since Scott Brooks in the 2013-14 season.
