Netflix to Stream TF1 Live Channels in France

Netflix and French broadcaster TF1 have announced a groundbreaking partnership, making Netflix the first streaming platform to integrate live channels and on-demand content from a major traditional broadcaster. Starting in summer 2026, Netflix subscribers in France will be able to access TF1’s five live TV channels—including live sports, reality shows like 'Koh-Lanta,' and daily soaps—alongside TF1+ streaming content, all within the Netflix app. Both companies highlight the deal as complementary, with TF1 CEO Rodolphe Belmer assuring it will not cannibalize the TF1+ platform but rather serve fragmented, on-demand-focused audiences. The partnership aims to expand Netflix’s appeal in a saturated French market and offers TF1 broader reach and new advertising opportunities.
