Hockey Hall of Fame Unveils 2025 Inductees

The Hockey Hall of Fame's Class of 2025 features eight inductees, including Zdeno Chara, who was inducted in his first year of eligibility after a 24-year career highlighted by a Stanley Cup, Norris Trophy, and a record 1,680 games played as a defenseman. Joe Thornton, a former Bruins and Sharks star and Hart Trophy winner, and Duncan Keith, a three-time Stanley Cup champion with the Chicago Blackhawks, also enter as first-ballot inductees. Alexander Mogilny was recognized for his prolific scoring and as a trailblazer for defecting from the Soviet Union, finally making the Hall after 17 years of eligibility. In the Builders category, Boston University coach Jack Parker was honored for a 40-year career with three NCAA titles and 897 wins, alongside Daniele Sauvageau, the first woman inducted as a builder.
