AfroFuture Festival Announces Lineup for U.S. Debut in Detroit

The inaugural AfroFuture Festival will be held on August 16-17, 2025, at Bedrock's Douglass Site in Detroit, marking the event's first U.S. edition after its origins in Ghana. The festival will feature an impressive lineup including Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido, Grammy-winning producer Kaytranada, Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley, and artists like Gims, Flavour, and Lojay. With two music stages, a designer marketplace, and various cultural exhibits, AfroFuture aims to blend Afrobeats, Amapiano, hip-hop, and techno with art, fashion, beauty, and food. Festival co-founder Abdul Karim Abdullah emphasized the celebration of Black culture and innovation. Presale tickets are now available, starting at $99 for general admission. The festival is produced by Paxahau, known for their work on Detroit's Movement Festival.
