Durham police have identified 23-year-old Dashaun Johnson as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday evening in the Colonial Village neighborhood, just hours after a separate shooting on Saturday night injured three men in the same area. Police responded to the scene near Glenbrook Drive and Dubonnet Place at around 6 p.m. on Sunday, where Johnson was found with gunshot wounds and later died at a local hospital. The earlier Saturday shooting left one victim with life-threatening injuries while the other two are expected to recover.
