Hearts FC is nearing the appointment of a new manager, having narrowed their search to two final candidates: Neil Critchley and Per Mathias Hogmo. Interim manager Liam Fox has had some success, including a Europa Conference League victory, but the team remains last in the Premiership. Critchley, who has experience with Liverpool and Aston Villa, and Hogmo, a veteran coach with a successful track record in Scandinavia and Japan, are both being considered. The club is working with Brighton owner Tony Bloom's Jamestown Analytical firm to finalize their decision. Hearts aims to have the new manager in place for their upcoming match against St Mirren.
