Women's Tour of Britain 2025 Features Record 18 Teams

The 2025 Lloyds Tour of Britain Women is set to feature a record field of 18 teams, including twelve UCI Women’s WorldTour squads, making it the largest and one of the most competitive editions in the event's history. The race, starting on June 5 in Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire, will see defending champion Lotte Kopecky of Team SD Worx – Protime and British champion Pfeiffer Georgi of Team Picnic PostNL among the top contenders. Notably, AG Insurance – Soudal and EF Education – Oatly will make their debut appearances, joining a lineup that includes 13 of the world’s top 15 ranked teams. All five British-registered UCI Continental teams will also participate, providing a rare opportunity for homegrown talent to race against elite international competition. The event marks a strong recovery for the Tour following its recent challenges, underscoring its renewed status on the Women’s WorldTour calendar. Teams from ten different countries will compete, reflecting the race's broad international appeal.
