Ramkumar Ramanathan Secures 1-0 Lead in Davis Cup Tie
India are through to the World Group I in the Davis Cup after they won both singles matches against Pakistan in Islamabad on Saturday. After the International Tennis Federation (ITF) rejected India's request to move the tie to a neutral venue on security grounds, India were forced to travel to Pakistan for the first time since 1964. India's Ramkumar Ramanathan and N Sriram Balaji secured a 2-0 lead in the tie after they beat Pakistan's Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Aqeel Khan, respectively. The doubles and reverse singles will be played on Sunday.
