3D Systems Launches FDA-Cleared NextDent Denture Solution in US

3D Systems has officially launched its NextDent Jetted Denture Solution commercially in the United States, following FDA 510(k) clearance in September 2024. This innovative technology produces single-piece, multi-material dentures using the NextDent 300 MultiJet 3D printer, which enables patient-specific dentures to be created faster—within one day compared to the traditional five days—without additional post-curing. The system uses two FDA-cleared materials, NextDent Jet Teeth and NextDent Jet Base, offering durable, long-wear prosthetics with outstanding aesthetics and improved toughness. Beta customers reported workflow efficiency improvements of up to 300% and reduced manual labor, highlighting the solution's usability and cost-effectiveness. 3D Systems anticipates that the U.S. dental replacement market will reach $600 million by 2029, with the company’s broader dental portfolio addressing multiple dental care needs and representing a nearly $1 billion market opportunity. The first units of the NextDent 300 printer are scheduled for shipment in August 2025, with subsequent launches planned for Europe and Asia pending regulatory approvals.
