Tennessee Lands Top 2026 Defensive Football Commitments

The Tennessee Volunteers football program has landed major commitments for its 2026 recruiting class, including four-star linebacker TJ White and his Jackson Academy teammate, defensive lineman Dereon Albert. TJ White, ranked among the top linebackers nationally, will participate in the 2026 Navy All-American Bowl and posted standout junior season stats with over 100 tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss, and 11 sacks. Albert is known for his power and quickness on the defensive line and chose Tennessee over several top programs. The Vols also secured in-state defensive back Jamyan Theodore, regarded as an underrated ball hawk, as well as notable recruits such as quarterback Faizon Brandon and wide receiver Tyreek King.
