Driver Killed in I-84 Waterbury Crash Identified

A fatal single-vehicle crash occurred late Sunday night at around 11:27 p.m. on the I-84 east Exit 23 ramp in Waterbury, Connecticut. A Honda Odyssey, registered to Yhagho Home Improvement, struck a metal guardrail, crossed the Hamilton Avenue intersection, and crashed into a concrete barrier. The driver, reportedly Everaldo Ferreira De Oliveira according to some sources, was pronounced dead at the scene, though authorities have not officially released the name pending next-of-kin notification. No other vehicles or injuries were involved in the crash.
